how much
how much與how many的區別在於：how many 後接可數名詞複數形式，而how much 後接不可數名詞。例如：
－how many people are there in your family?你家有幾口人？
－there are five.五口人。
－how many birds can you see in the picture?圖畫中你能看見多少隻鳥？
－only one.僅看見一隻鳥。
how much 是一個常見的特殊疑問片語，它的意思為「多少」，表示數量，其後面接不可數名詞，也可單獨使用，它在初中課本里的用法主要有：
1、用來詢問事物的數量，後接不可數名詞。例如：

注意：（1）how much 後接be動詞時，be 是單數還是複數，取決於be之後的名詞。例如：

（2）how much詢問**時，它的回答若是中國的貨幣單位應採用漢語拼音yuan,fen來表示，幾角常採用幾十分來表示，字母用小寫，且不用複數。例如：
－how much is the eraser?這塊橡皮擦多少錢？
－ninety two fen.九角二分。
（3）在買賣過程中，買方覺得太貴不買，常用that's much too dear.作答。如果覺得比較合適，常用that's (very,quite cheap.
