你所舉的例子 what kinds of books do you like? 意思是「你喜歡哪些種類的書籍?」.
如果改為 what kind of book do you like?,意思變成了「你喜歡哪一種書籍?」.
究竟用 kind 還是kinds,需要視語境而定.
另外,there are many kind of animals in the zoo 這個句子不知道你從什麼地方看到的,many 後不能用單數 kind,因此這是個錯句.切記不要把在不可靠地方摘抄的句子作為佐證.
